WARRANTY, RETURNS & REFUND POLICY

WARRANTY

The warranty for Goal Zero products is 2 years from the date of purchase for the original purchaser. Please refer to the Limited Warranty below for complete details regarding your product's specific warranty. All warranty claims require proof of purchase.

Warranty exception on all Lead Acid Batteries (Yeti 400, Yeti 150, and Yeti Tank) and Open Box product. Open Box product warranty is 6 months from the date of purchase.

RETURNS

You have 30 days to return an item from the date of purchase. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. Your item must be in the original packaging, along with any labels/accessories/Guarantees/Instructions. You must retain the receipt or proof of purchase. All purchased items must be returned and inspected before any refund or exchange will be granted.

REFUNDS

Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item. We will notify as soon as reasonably practicable on the status of your refund after inspecting the item. If your refund is approved, we will initiate a refund to your credit card (or original method of payment). Please note that the timeframe for receiving the credit will vary, depending on your card issuer’s policies.

RESTRICTIONS AND EXCEPTIONS

Items cannot be returned if they have been modified or altered or damaged by you. As a result of copyright laws and hygiene regulations a refund or exchange is not available for the following:
 Consumables (perishable products)
 Software
 Hazardous materials
 Flammable liquids or gases
 Gift cards
 Sale items

CONSUMER GUARANTEES ACT 1993

The Consumer Guarantees Act sets out minimum standards for items sold by Solis SW Limited. In the event that items are sold are deficient or are fault, then the retailer has the obligation to repair, replace or refund.

EXCHANGES

If an item is defective or damages, we can offer to exchange it for another one or another item of the same value. Proof of purchase is required in order to obtain an exchange. Please note, as mentioned above, items returned or exchanged must be in the same condition as received with all original packaging and labels returned with the item.

MANUFACTURING DEFECTS

Where the item is faulty or damaged due to manufacturing faults we will either (i) replace the items; or (ii) repair the item under the manufacturers guarantee; (iii) give you a refund. Manufacturing defects do not include normal wear and tear and any damage cause by accidental or nonaccidental damage.

SHIPPING

You will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are nonrefundable. You will be responsible for the costs of customs fees and taxes on re-entry back into New Zealand for all returns outside of New Zealand. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. The timeframe for return shipping will be subject to standard post (national and international) timeframes.

*if you have purchased your Goal Zero product through a New Zealand retailer you will need return it to the store or a sister store.
